wiped off!!

what will u do if u wake up one fine day only to realise that the last remnants of all the memories u thought ur life depended on were gone wiped off by the one who'd helped u create them in the first place??

UPDATED: would like to end with one of my fav poems---

BEHOLD her, single in the field,
Yon solitary Highland Lass!
Reaping and singing by herself;
Stop here, or gently pass!
Alone she cuts and binds the grain,
And sings a melancholy strain;
O listen! for the Vale profound
Is overflowing with the sound.

No Nightingale did ever chaunt
More welcome notes to weary bands
Of travellers in some shady haunt,
Among Arabian sands:
A voice so thrilling ne'er was heard
In spring-time from the Cuckoo-bird,
Breaking the silence of the seas
Among the farthest Hebrides.

Will no one tell me what she sings?--
Perhaps the plaintive numbers flow
For old, unhappy, far-off things,
And battles long ago:
Or is it some more humble lay,
Familiar matter of to-day?
Some natural sorrow, loss, or pain,
That has been, and may be again?

Whate'er the theme, the Maiden sang
As if her song could have no ending;
I saw her singing at her work,
And o'er the sickle bending;--
I listened, motionless and still;
And, as I mounted up the hill
The music in my heart I bore,
Long after it was heard no more.

----William Wordsworth

i guess i am but just a solitary reaper---someone who wants her song to be remembered forever :)

i will know that the present and the future are waiting to embrace me with open arms and stop looking back.
someone had told me in my weakest moment that keeping too many memories of someone who is no longer with us is not good because that can cut u and make u bleed internally.i want to tell that someone the same thing now :)

It would be a good chance to make new memories... less painful ones :)

@ the rat
memories never leave just that their traces are sometimes wiped off :)

@ rahul
thanks buddy...sometimes that someone needs to be reminded about things she herself has lectured others on...
but no worries im fine and very much in the present!! :)

@ arv
well memories are never painful..its just the way we see it :)
wiping off memories never solved anything...memories are something which are meant to be treasured for life because if notanything, they atleast help u grow up!
and someone wiping them off in the attempt of growing up without them around might sometimes just end up hurting the person who is trying to grow up with them...!!

@ trinaa
ahh we have all gone through this at one point or the other...and yet u can say its just a fleeting thought...
in my opinion, memories can never be made..they just happen!! :)

@ abhshek khanna
naah lappy pe backups store karna meri aadat nahi hain...but as long as my 'brain hard disk' is okay, everythings fine!LOL!!
as for memories, u cant create those...they just happen! :)

@ hemanth
u cant erase off memories hemanth...yea its upto u whether u regret or rejoice over them! :)
that poem is one of my personal favs too...

@ mayz
u cant deliberately wipe off memories just like u cant deliberately create them...it just has to happen on its own...
i agree u can wipe off all their traces from everywhere around u..but not from where u really want them to go away :)
yea sure as life goes on, memories get old and dusty...but somewhere they still reside in some corner of our existence...

ohh and i would'nt want to learn how to wipe off my memories...i'd rather celebrate the good ones and learn from the bad ones :)

Well that poem is beautiful:)
It will be very shattering but as it says in the pic...your strength in is hiding your pain..
Hiding your emotions does the trick.

What is gone is gone...i will embrace the future with all my warmth and love and do my best not to let it happen again:)

I loved the poem...
Always embrace the future with open arms..

"Losers live in the past. Winners learn from the past and enjoy working in the present toward the future."

@ phoenix
naah..no worries...traces of those precious moments can be erased...remnants of memories can we wiped off from places..but not from the heart :)
they remain safe there...

@ meera
hmm very true...smiling thru the pain often helps confuse the world and then there is a very good chance of confusing urself soo much in the process too that u actually start believing that ur happy afterall.lol!..but this confusion is worth it i guess isnt it? :)

@ blogboy
nice quote..and equally true! :)
been a long time since u dropped by on here...hows u doing?
